Comox Valley Children’s Choir Information:

What type of choir is it? The Comox Valley Children’s Choir is school age children’s choir that is an unchanged voices only choir. Boys whose voices have changed need to inquire about different choir programs available in the Valley.

What type of music does the choir sing? We sing a variety of music suitable for young singers including folk, classical, popular, sacred, secular and world music. We also include some music that one might hear on the radio if it is suitable and something that brings joy or strength to the singers in a way that is safe for their voices to sing.

Can I have my phone in choir? YES, if it is on airplane mode and not on your person (in a bag, purse, or backpack).  (If there is an opportunity to record parts or take photos, you will be told when to use it and then please tag us in any photos you post.)

What do I need to bring with me to choir? Water bottle, (no food allowed in music room), your voice and a good sense of humor.

Can my parent sit in on choir until I feel comfortable? YES, so long as they are quiet, phone is on silent mode, and they are not coming and going.
