Our Society, with the generous support of The Comox Valley Community Foundation, has purchased 4 sets of 3 step risers. Risers can be rented!
Our Rental Policy
For the performance day the fee is $20/riser. For the day before and after your concert/event, they are free of charge as long as there are no other bookings and with no guarantee that they are not rented out to someone else those days. If the renter desires to secure the risers for both days before and after their concert/event, they must pay 1/2 price for each additional set up day. We ask for a $250.00 cheque as a damage deposit issued to "Nova Voce Choral Society" which is shredded with successful and undamaged riser return. Your organization will also be required to fill out a Riser Rental Form, available by email through the Contact Page.
The risers are the same type that School District #71 owns, described as:
‘Tourmaster 2000 Risers fold up tight and flat and roll with the stability and ease of a two-wheel cart. The 183 cm Tourmaster is easy for anyone to maneuver, transport and set-up. Once in place, it takes just 10 seconds to unfold and lock into the upright position. And it’s built extremely tough to ensure solid performances.’ Each riser holds 12 adults, or 16 with a row on the floor. This means all 4 risers accommodate up to 64 adults.
